The ARSC Journal (ISSN 0004-5438) is a semi-annual, peer reviewed publication that documents the history of sound recording.

The ARSC Journal includes original articles on many aspects of research and preservation: biography; cataloging; copyright law; current research; discography; technical aspects of sound restoration, etc.. The journal also includes book and sound recording reviews, and publishes a running bibliography of articles appearing in other specialist publications and of related interest.
